First Principles: Be Helpful
All your strategies and tactics need to add value for other people. Not your organization. This is one of the First Principles no one ever teaches in schools and definitely won’t learn at work.
This is the second video about first principles or the basic fundamentals you need to learn of you want to be successful in digital marketing (or in anything for that matter).
If you continue adding value to people’s lives, they will buy your products / services. That’s the simplest way to think about the world.
Value is exchanged in the market place. The buyer exchanges his /her money for your products/services. If the buyer doesn’t get enough value for the price, they won’t buy it. Or if they bought it and the value isn’t there, they will not patronize your organization.
In digital marketing, that would be customer returns, negative reviews and the like.
