Why Should You Use Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a tag management solution that allows you to add snippets of code to your website (or app) without the need to know anything about code, nor get stuck waiting for developers to add them.

Most modern software that you use — whether that’s for marketing or analytics, or CRM — requires that you install a piece of code on your website. Take, for example, Google Analytics. You install a code on your site before it can start gathering data.

If you don’t know anything about code, this task can be very overwhelming. You’d then have to rely on someone technical, like a programmer or an outsourced developer, to add the code. However, the biggest problem with this is that it takes them usually a long time to add a piece of code.

In addition, just think of all the snippets of code you need to add when you need start growing your business. Apart from Google Analytics, you’ll definitely have to install the Facebook Pixel, a CRM like Hubspot, or marketing automation like Autopilot, or HotJar, or any other tool.

Add all these up and it could take you forever just to test and implement new technologies.

GTM is the answer to this.

All you have to do is add the code for GTM on your website once, then you add all the other codes inside GTM. It’s fairly easy to add and configure them inside it.
